In “Learn To Surf with Javier Diaz,” I embraced multiple roles to bring this captivating short documentary to life. As the producer, I orchestrated the entire project, ensuring a seamless execution from start to finish. My videography skills captured the stunning visuals of Mazatlan’s surf culture, immersing viewers in the vibrant world of surfing. I meticulously handled the editing process, weaving together a compelling narrative that highlights Javier’s expertise and passion for teaching.

Utilizing Davinci Resolve, I performed precise color correction and color grading to enhance the visual appeal, ensuring each scene resonated with the audience. My attention to detail ensured that the colors and tones accurately reflected the beauty of Mazatlan’s surf scene. Additionally, I managed sound mixing to deliver clear and immersive audio that complements the visual experience. Despite facing a challenge during the primary interview due to a microphone failure, I adapted by using the Black Magic Cinema Camera’s onboard microphone, ensuring that Javier’s insights and enthusiasm were captured effectively.
