Seedance 2.0 Experiments.

ROLE: AI Filmmaker, Prompt Engineering, AI Art Direction, AI Imagery, Sound Design, Editing

This ongoing project is a collection of Seedance 2.0 experiments focused on cinematic AI video, spec ads, product commercials, action scenes, and prompt-driven visual storytelling. Each test is built to explore how far the model can be pushed with structured prompting, image references, video references, camera direction, pacing, and commercial-style product reveals. The goal is not to present these as flawless finished ads. These are working experiments, built to test what Seedance 2.0 handles well, where it still breaks, and how prompt engineering and AI art direction can help turn rough ideas into stronger cinematic results.

Why I Started These Seedance 2.0 Experiments

I started creating these experiments while building a practical Seedance 2.0 prompting workflow for myself. I wanted something more useful than random trial and error, so I began testing real video concepts and using those results to refine a repeatable process for writing better prompts.

The more I worked with Seedance 2.0, the more obvious it became that the prompt itself needs structure. You need to think about the scene, the subject, the action, the references, the camera movement, the timing, and the visual style before generating. These tests helped me figure out what kind of instructions actually matter, especially when working with image-to-video, first frames, last frames, product shots, action scenes, and cinematic spec ads.

I also put together a free Seedance 2.0 prompting guide that can be uploaded into your LLM project files. The idea is simple: give the guide to your LLM, explain what kind of video you want to make, and let it help you turn that rough idea into a cleaner Seedance 2.0 prompt.

This was the first major experiment in the series. It started as a fake Japanese-style ramen commercial, but the real goal was to stress test Seedance 2.0 with action, cinematic pacing, product reveal structure, and visual continuity.

There are still plenty of inconsistencies, artifacts, and strange AI moments in the final clip, but that is part of the experiment. Compared to where AI video was only a few months ago, the progress is hard to ignore.
